Corine Timmer<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]The Haiku Foundation honors the work of contemporary masters of the dual art of haiga: visual image wedded to haiku. This month\u2019s featured artist is Corine Timmer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Corine Timmer<\/a> holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a diploma in Interior Design. She was active in the design world until a road trip to Spain in 2014 re-awakened her passion for writing and in 2018 she self-published her first children\u2019s storybook. In the same year it won a Mom\u2019s Choice Award. Haiku crossed her path by accident in 2015 and she\u2019s been hooked ever since. Corine has been published in various renowned print and web haiku journals and anthologies. During the past four years her haiku and photo haiku have won awards. In 2018 and 2019 she published haiku anthologies in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The books are part of her Chinese zodiac series. This year it\u2019s rat\u2019s turn.
