All proceeds from enrollment fees will be donated to The Haiku Foundation. Enrollment is limited, and the deadline to join is July 16, 2025. You can learn more about this wonderful educational opportunity (including how to sign up) <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/haiku-that-move-us-limited-enrollment-online-class-with-scott-mason\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>New Improved Contact Page &amp; THF Directory<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/new-to-haiku-meet-our-new-president-robin-smith\/\">THF President Robin Smith<\/a>, with the help of <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/staff-member\/dave-russo\/\">THF Board Member Dave Russo<\/a>, recently revamped our <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/contact\/\">Contact<\/a> page. Now, instead of writing to a general mailbox, you can contact our Features Editors and other hard-working volunteers directly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Did you know that THF is 100% volunteer-run? We are <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/thf-volunteer-appreciation\/\">so thankful for our volunteers<\/a>! If you\u2019d like to join us, please see our recently revised <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/about-thf\/seeking-volunteers\/\">Volunteer Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>THF Forums Closing<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may have heard that we have recently decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/thf-forums-closing\/\">close down our Forums<\/a>. This was due in large part to increasing cyber-attacks that were making this feature difficult and time-consuming to maintain. (You may recall that THF was down briefly about a month ago. For a while after restoration, <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/update-regarding-thf-site-verification\/\">we required verification to view the site<\/a> while we got things back up to speed.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The closing date for the Forums is July 15, 2025. Please be sure to save any materials that you would like before then. You can read more about the Forum closure <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/thf-forums-closing\/\">in this post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Events Calendar<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are happy to report that <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/staff-member\/valerie-rivoallon\/\">Val\u00e9rie Rivoallon<\/a> has recently joined us as our Calendar Events Manager. The Haiku Foundation <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/events\/\">Events Calendar<\/a>\u00a0features a selection of competitions, publications, gatherings, and fairs organized around haiku and its related forms around the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To inquire about our calendar or to submit an event, use the <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/about-our-events-calendar\/\"><strong>submission form on this page<\/strong><\/a>. Please include a complete description of the event as you\u2019d like it to appear (dates, times, name of organization, contact info, applicable links, etc.). We ask that you send your submission at least 30 days in advance of when you need it posted.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Revised Code of Conduct &amp; Moderation Enforcement Guidelines<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, the THF board is finalizing our updated Code of Conduct and Moderation Enforcement Guidelines. We\u2019ll let you know on the blog when <a href=\"https:\/\/thehaikufoundation.org\/updates-to-thf-code-of-conduct-moderation-enforcement\/\">they are posted<\/a>. There will soon be a form you can fill out to report any behavior you see here that concerns you. We want THF to be a safe and welcoming place for all.
