Woody Harrelson writes a poem for a little girl who looks like him

People are used to wondering if a baby looks like mom or dad. But when a mother from Northern Ireland took to Twitter to ask how much her baby girl looks so much like Woody Harrelson, the internet went wild.

On Aug. 3, Dani Grier Mulvenna tweeted a smiling photo of his baby girl, Cora, side-by-side with a screenshot of Woody Harrelson laughing in the movie “Zombieland.” “Okay, but how is our daughter like Woody Harreslon,” she wrote.

In just two days, this tweet received over 483,000 likes, 2,670 quote tweets and 26,6000 retweets. The responses were varied and many, hilarious. However, one response in particular stole the show: that of Emmy Award-winning and three-time Oscar-nominated actor Woody Harrelson.

In fact, Harrelson not only saw the message and replied, but he wrote an “Ode to Cora”.

“You’re a sweet kid / Flattered to be compared,” he wrote. “You have a beautiful smile / I just wish I had your hair.”

“It’s not everyday Woody Harrelson [sic] write a poem to your daughter,” Mulvenna tweeted after her initial post went viral.

And then: “Cora says, thank you so much for the likes and retweets and also that she doesn’t always look like Woody Harreslon, it’s just that when she does… she really really does.”
